Source: wheninmanila.comWhen in Manila, many have come to embrace the concept of “staycations” – spending a night or weekend somewhere within your city for a change of scenery, “to get away” without the hassle of actually getting out of town – much because of its convenience and the instant gratification it offers. I myself have been in need of some R&R, but because of my busy schedule, I haven’t had a chance to take that weekend venture.
Enter KL Tower’s ultra-chic serviced boutique residences, invitingly situated smack in the middle of the Makati CBD (the quieter, greener part), a full two days that suddenly opened up in my schedule, and I finally got myself the perfect setting for the vacation I’ve been meaning to have – without having to go far.
KL Tower is part of Hospitality International Inc., which also manages big names in the hospitality and real estate industry such as Joya residences in Rockwell, The Picasso Serviced Residences in Makati, Azumi Boutique Hotel in Alabang, and the über hip Henry Hotel in Cebu.
KL Tower delivers contemporary living at the heart of the city complete with all the comforts of home, and then some. Every aspect of KL Tower evokes an artsy, modern air, with various forms of art lining their walls and designer furniture that double as art pieces occupy its receiving area.
And this is honestly one of the most photogenic pool areas I’ve encountered in this city, KL Tower’s pool area is quite the charmer, sitting at the 7th floor and opening up to views of the Makati skyline from large stone columns. I don’t think anyone can resist a well-planned photo-op in here. A sauna is also available for guests’ and tenants’ use, more than ideal before/after your morning dip. For alternative means of sweating it out, KL Tower also has a gym area fully stocked with all the essentials. They also offer in-room massage services, just a phone call away.
